as we talked about, their name is a liability in terms of what it suggests- open heart implies surgery. So they (and now you) have an identity problem to solve. wish it were AN open heart, which is what they really want to convey. so hard problem to solve.
the music clef is lost as a concept. also makes the centered image off balance. tries to suggest music, but they do many other things. red reinforces blood (surgery) but is also a heart's color, so what do you do. again, hard problem to solve here.
the gesture for art related problems is logical, if not overused. does it have to be a heart. could it just be an underline abstract gesture? seems overly literal right now. font is friendly, but also a tad cartoony. could O P E N with letterspacing be same size as art center to provide a b a?
